• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello everyone,

Glad to be here. I just bought a 2014 Spyder RT Limited with a matching Can Am RT-622 trailer. Cognac color on both. 2700 miles. Showroom condition. They were bought as a set including the dealer installed hitch and lighting harness. I'm thrilled with the find.

Been riding since 1960 - everything you can imagine. Loved it all. But my needs (and health) have changed. Can't do flat track, motocross, or drag racing (NHRA style) any more (at least successfully). Time to grow up , per se, and relax - ride something that's comfortable, safe, and fun. I think I should have done this Spyder thing a long time ago.

:congrats:......&....:welcome: ........ Imagine what your dash would look like if was also Cognac ..... years ago I painted " Deanna777 's " dash surround matching Cognac - it really made it POP .... I found a matching Cognac in an Auto parts store spray can ... if you want to try that, contact me about " how-to-do-it " ..... She has it shown on all of Her posts, She got a DECAL, but it looks similar ..... Mike :ohyea:

I have a 2014 RTS-SE6 the same color, Great color choice! Cognac is a fast color!

You can see the farkles that I have done/added in "MY Album".

The dashboard needs a pop of color. I have had several people say to me is that BRP paint, I said 'NO". The painted dashboard looks like it belongs there.

Congrats on the new ride. I also have the 2014 RTS-SE6 Cognac and saw Deanna777’s photo of her dash. I followed Blueknight911’s coments on the paint, and now my dash is also the same “cognac” colour, and it does match. If you don’t wish to do it yourself, you can take it to a bodyshop, or.....Can Am Spyder Accessories offers colour matched dashes on their website. Just a thought.
 
With only 2200 miles, that engine isn't even broken-in yet. It'll start loosening up around 6-7k miles. If it still has Kenda tires on the front change them to car tires soon, It's for 2 reasons...1. Kenda are crap and will give you a hard time keeping it going straight and will not behave in twisties. 2. They're too old.
