• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all, This is Mike Haynes. My wife and I both have Spyders hers a 2012 RT and mine a 2011 RS-S. We live in north west Pa and my father was at our hunting camp on Saturday when a whole group of Spyders came by (20 plus). Just wondering if there is a club or who sets up these rides in my area? Thanks for any info Mike Haynes

Hiya Mike!
NorthWest Pennsylvania; I know of a couple of riders who live about an hour North of Pittsburgh...
PM me with your email address, and I'll see if they're interested in getting together...
In the meantime: :welcome:too!

first off, welcome!!! :congrats: to both of you for being spyderlovers!!! if you have a dealer up in your area, they could have been having a demo ride and that might explain the group of spyders all being together.

Gaggle of Spyders

the group you saw was probably headed to Bike Week up in New Hampshire (Laconia/Weirs Beach) I saw a group of 20 or so Spyders up there over the weekend. Welcome to the Group :)

:welcome: To SpyderLovers forum. When you get time you should put info on your spyders in your signature and post some pics of your rydes.

Hey Mike, Welcome!! My husband, Bill and I have been mostly "lurkers" on this really great forum, only because we are not as computer savvy enough even to know how to post photos. BUT, we did want want to let you know that it was probably our Group Ride from Pioneer Motorsports in Chaffee, NY that you saw last Saturday. They do a fantastic annual event for their customers by sponsoring this event for us. They hosted the ride from their dealership on Route 16 on down to the Kinzua Bridge State Park and back via Cuba Lake and other scenic areas. The ride ended back at the dealership where they favored us with a wonderful outdoor Chicken Barbecue with homemade side dishes from the staff of this family-owned business; after which we were told to expect free tee shirts coming for everyone who participated in the ride.
So in answer to your question, Mike, YES! It sure would be nice to have this kind of riding experience formed into sort of a club like such is done for snowmobilers but as of now we don't know of any. Hope you get some answers you're looking for on this forum!
Btw, in case you noticed the Spyder and the little dog with her doggles and riding helmet riding by my side, that would have been us.

Welcome to the best site around. We'll help you out and maybe even pi$$ you off. But then that's family.
