• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New to Spyders.

After many years of riding Harleys, my hips and knees told me I need to do something different. Never been that much of a fan of Harley trikes so I started looking at Spyders. After looking at this forum for several weeks and reading all of your posts, you guys (girls too), talked me into a 2012 RTS. Hope to pick it up be the end of the week. I got the 2012 'cause the dealer could sell it a LOT less the a 2013.
Thanks for helping me make up my mind on the Spyder. Hope to meet some of you on the road.

Dale.

Welcome

:welcome:and congrats on pulling the trigger. Did the same thing last year on my '11. Enjoy!!

:congrats: and now you should stand in front of a mirror and start to practice being a *Rock Star*. No matter where you go and where you park the Spyder people will seek you out for information oh and there is the staring thing also, it is a bit creepy at first then you just start to laugh about it.

Be Safe

Thanks for the welcome. I've already learned a lot about the workings of the trike. I've watched most of the videos you guys have posted on the mods you have made. I did most of the work on my Harleys and have been building hot rods longer than I care to remember. The first change I think I want to make is adding floorboards. Just don't think I can live with the pegs.
The color is the dark grey metal flake. Not sure of the proper name. I haven't even seen the trike yet. When I bought it, it was still in the crate. The dealer is putting it together right now and will call when it all assembled.
Again, thanks for the welcome. Dale.
