• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got 2010 RS SE5. Rode it today. and I love it. Have always been a snowmobiler, and this is pretty close. Cant wait to get at the mods. Hand brake first. Bad knee. Then all the heat relief mods. Does anyone know of a way to raise seat height? I am fabbing some floor boards, but a little more Butt height would be nice. Thanks for all the help this site has been before my purchase, seems like a great bunch of people.

Teddy & I would like to say Congrats & Welcome to the SpyderHood

:congrats: & :welcome: This is just my opinion, but I don't think you'd really want to raise your seat height :lecturef_smilie: as that would raise your center of gravity and that could cause you all kinds of handling issues, especially in the twisties. I have noticed some ryders use seat cusions for extended ryding, and those would raise you up a little, so maybe something like that would help you :dontknow: Either way, Welcome to the SpyderHood & Enjoy the Ryde :yes:

Another option to help your knee would be footboards or highway pegs. With the hand brake, you would still be safe, and your center of mass would remain lower.
