• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New to me 2012 RT Limited

When I got my first Spyder, I had a moment of panic. The first light I stopped at, I went to put my left foot down. Whoa!! No can do! Took a while to get used to, but i did. And you will also. Enjoy. If you can leave the house.

Yeah, it’s like riding a ATV on the street. I rode for about 30 minutes yesterday and it is starting to become second nature now.

Be sure to do two things 1) read the Do's and Don'ts section especially the older posts that talk about the 998 engine. 2) read the section in your owner's manual that deals with how to ride your Spyder. There is a good section on setting up a practice course. I used a large empty parking lot and some large plastic cups for the cones. Ride, ride a lot. I just got back from a 1500 mile trip on my 2012 and it was great. Rode with 3 Goldwing, 4 Harleys, one Tri Glide, and of course my Spyder.

Thank you, yes I watched the video that came original with the bike. It has the original documents and owner CD. I just finished making floorboards and installing them, I will be taking about a 70 mile round trip ride tomorrow. I know not much of a ride but for me it is a big deal!

Thanks for all the suggestions! See y’all out there!
