• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

.NEW ???. I think they started making them 2 years ago, not really any better than the Kenda's from reports of their wear characteristics............not surprising they used the Kenda as the model :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:............Mike :roflblack:

I replaced the tires front and rear on my 2008 RS last March and so far have almost 10,000 miles on them with good results. The front are showing some even wear, but the rear looks almost new. I don't spare the throttle, but no burn outs. The fronts are wearing due to cornering and having rough road surfaces here on the Oregon Coast. I'm going to measure tread depth to the wear bars and document further rate of wear more precisely. :D:D

Realtively new....

They came out and started selling but ran into a spec problem. They corrected that and are doing well. I have had two sets of Kendas with good results (apparently one of the few) but will try the Arachnid (Vee) tire next time around...

Question: Have they brought out a 15" front tire yet? :dontknow:
(My last conversation with them, was left as, "Soon...")

Lamont was....

The last I had heard about these tires was that Lamont had received the "New" compound formula tires and was going to test them on his machines. He said something about stocking them in his store if they met with his approval....That was at least 6 months ago....
I understand that the "Old" style had some difficulty with sidewall support and didn't meet specs for use with the heavier Spyder RT models.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Not new. Poor chinese copy of a bad chinese tire.

Get some high quality top tier tires.
I'm not defending the tire or the company however it's made in Taiwan, which does have it's own Government separate from China........I just watched a video about Vee Rubber tire co.......It's been making tires for 40 years and is one of the largest producers in the world...........Perhaps their second generation product ( for Spyders ) will be better than the first....................It would be interesting to know what Lamont found out about the new batch !!!!!.....................Mike

:agree: It's tough to complain about them, if you haven't had any experience with them...

Or have you??? :dontknow:

Just the first gen. Was not impressed as they slipped on the rim (oversized bead diameter) and were under rated for the vehicle. Was able to get a return / refund. Swore I would stick with top tier tires after that.

Sorry, it was a poor attempt at non-politically correct humor. But they are not top tier tires nor are they well known for quality. Low cost supplier.

Yes they do make 15" for front

They have come along ways since starting up

Can't be any worse then kendra.

Got over 12000 miles on mine
