There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Sorry, been away a few days, but I did not see anyone post the new Corbin stuff that will be in New York for Americade? The seat is awesome and I got one coming. Sorry if this was already posted, I did not see it.

I just went to see this updated information, and all I can say is.....Wow! It definately makes the Spyder look different. I'm not sure about the windshield, though. I guess I would have to see somebody riding it with it on, and then decide if it is something I want. The seats look awesome. Heres are a couple pics:

The saddlebags look pretty good also:

I know they tested the bags for clearance, but it sure looks like the exhaust will hit the bag if fully depressed. However, the seat appears to be a well padded combination that'll go with handlebar extensions and highway pegs. I'm getting used to the fairing....looks better finished than it did under production. I still opt for Cortech soft bags with a trailer hitch.

Yup... saw this posted on CAT (can-amtalk.com) a few days ago. Pretty amazing work. I REALLY like the seat and backrest options. The fairing is too wild for my tastes. Maybe if it was done in black it wouldn't look so wild.

The saddle bags are awesome.... if I was doing any serious travel I would want those... but most of my trips will be just a few days here and there... so some soft bags will work for me.

We all need to contact Corbin and tell them NOT to make the seat hard as a rock--- like most of their seats are.

I want one of those saddles with backrests! Anybody have any idea how much they cost? Does it mount on the existing seat or replace it? Corbin...great job!

All different seat and pan. Custom leather and inlay. Backrest painted yellow and passenger backrest shipped to your door. $800 $1132 if you wanted heated seats.

Depends on who you listen to and what you believe. They say 1500 miles to fully break the seat in. Cuts down vibration and I have already been in the stock seat long enough to know it is to squishy and after about 200 miles it gets uncomfortable. I have not personally owned a Corbin seat to I have never had one broke in for myself. I do know several people that have them and still have them on their second bike, Same seat. Will give a full report when I get.

I really like the saddlebags. I wonder what the cost will be and if they will hinder the passenger's leg position. That would be the first aftermarket accessory for me. I have already ordered the backrest and hope that the stock seat will be comfortable for me

You can always cancell the order. i am sure someone will take it from the dealer. Cost for what you are getting with the BRP one is, IMO so not worth it and than there is the point on the back of the seat putting pressure on the base of the passengers spine. I even took a first ride on the back yesterday and sure enough to be comfortable I would have to be sitting with that point you know where.
f you look carefully at the Corbin bags, you can see they moved the foot pegs. The pics without the saddle bags the pegs are removed. Bags are pricey $1800 I believe, DO NOT QUOTE ME, call them. Classic case of you get what you pay for. The are gorgeous and roomy.

I saw the bags at Americade. They are awesome.. but pricey, as mentioned. They were $1,699 and there was a 10% discount offered if purchased as Americade. I did not ask if they came painted or not. Red and Yellow were ont he bike. I hope they come painted so there is not an additional cost to have that done. Either way, I think this will be an accessory that I will be purchasing before too long

The website for Corbin says specifically that the frame they provide to install the saddlebags has a new position for the rider pegs....

Derwin... saw a picture of someone sitting on this exact multi-colored demo from Corbin for this weekend, and it looks like the windshield is still juat at chin level... but farther back.... perhaps it will still push the wind off your face... I like the design and definitely like the seat. I'm wondering if I can use the original backrest with the rider seat.... as I already ordered that equipment to be installed on my SE5 when it comes. The picture showed the person sitting, and his legs seemed bent back a little farther than with the original seats.... I wonder if this will cause some cramping without highway pegs to relax and stretch?

I was at Lake George this Thursday to have dinner with Mike Corbin. He is really a Spyder lover for sure! He is sending me a faring and bags for our show Spyder.

A few things I found out from him. The windshield on the Corbin faring takes a regular Harley batwing windshield and inasmuch many different styles and heights are available. The faring comes with a 6 inch windshield standard, shorter 4 inch, and taller ones all the way up to 12 inch are made for Harley's.

The bags are HUGE and hold 12.5 gallons each. That is as much as the nose holds. So with both bags and the trunk you will have over 35 gallons of space.

The standard single color bags are less ($1699) than the two tone bags ($1899) and come in yellow, silver and red. The wait for a set is 6 to 8 weeks already.

My faring should be here shortly as it will be the number 2 unit after their show bike to have one. The bags are to be here the first week in July as Mike is rushing them as well to me to have on the Spyder for the upcoming rallies.

We are working with him on a new longer on the top rear fender for the Spyders to help keep the tire from slinging the gunk all over the bike so much. It will be a must have item when ready for anybody who likes to keep their bike clean.

The seats are indeed Corbin firm and do have a real nice feel and fit at least for my size. Although I did not think l would like the back rest for the driver it really felt great and would really help on longer rides for sure.

We will be a Corbin Dealer starting next week and will try to post more info as soon as our Dealer packet gets here.

I was in Corbin in Ormond beach saturday. They don''t have any to look at or try. The fairing will be about 13hundred dollars. A little pricey.
