• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New SpyderLover sponsor- Roadster Renovations

Good luck in your new venture. I may be interested in the gloves, too. Do they come in various sizes, or are they one-size only?

The description from Amazon (where the site directs you), shows them in XL. Don't know if this is a limited supply, or close out special.

I need mediums.

I did not see a size thing either--which is why I held off today. Site not working perfect? I have a couple months before the summer is upon us anyway. :roflblack:
I actually only listed the glove as one size. Send me a PM with your name or note on the order what size you wish. I will say this; the gloves are well made with good leather and good stitching. The gel is just enough to not overwhelm, yet substantially cut down road vibration. Before I offered these gloves, I used them for our NE Vacation and we rode 4,400 miles in 11 days. I had no hand cramping at all. The longer I have worn them the more fitted to my hands they have become. I think you will really like them. btw: Just saw your post and I think the Large will fit you fine. What size (generic) gloves do you normally wear? Also, do you have a lowes or menards anywhere close. You can find the correct size, send a picture of the pair and I can check them here. Just remember, these gloves run very small.

Thanks Doc! Please let us know when you have the aluminum ones ready for sale. One quick question that I do have though. On most trailers the 'tongue weight' is only around 17-20 pounds. Since these carriers have a capacity or either 40 or 60 pounds, I would be concerned that using it could void my Can-Am Factory Warranty. Your thoughts please!

PS - Welcome to town!!!
The aluminum carrier is being configured for fabrication as we speak. I should have some numbers in the next week or so.

OK, I have the BRP service manual and the tongue weight is 40 lbs. If we can get the carrier down to 10 lbs. that 30lbs. would be a bunch of stuff indeed. One other factor to consider is that the 40lbs is directly at the farthest point right on the ball. The carrier will have a larger contact area as well as being shifted forward. This will undoubtedly spread the load. Hope that helped. Sorry my initial information was wrong on the tongue weight. I will update more when I have more info on the carrier.

Those of you that were interested in the gloves, here is what I am willing to do. If you PM me with an email I can invoice through Pay Pal I will knock off the shipping. That way if they do not fit you will only be out the return shipping and get a full refund minus that. Please specify Large or Extra Large for the size you want sent. Hope that helps!
