• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder

Last Sunday, my beloved Smurfette ('10 RT-AC) was totaled in an accident, mercifully no serious injuries. Nanny did her job, and as a result of that, the friend who was driving it, walked away with minor scratches. A few says later, after we learned Smurfette's fate, we went to the dealer and purchased a '16 RTS Special Edition Triple Black. I'm used to the 998, but would welcome advice on the 1330. A new journey is beginning.......

Everything that "Cuz" said. And mainly, it will be a hoot for you. Quieter, more powerful, very linear powerband. You will love it !

Oh, BTW, I totaled my 1st 2014, stayed on and survived no problem.

You will love it. Above having more power you can go farther before having to fill up. Enjoy.

1330

It will run a bit different than what you are used to, but I really like mine. As others have said read the book, and hints here.

Enjoy that new ride.

By the way: How is your friend, and what happened? :dontknow:
In a nutshell, she gave it a bit too much throttle, and panicked, unable to find the brakes or kill switch. She went over a banked curb. As soon as the front wheels were off the ground, Nanny killed the engine, slowing her down enough that a large juniper bush stopped her from going onto a main road. She was treated at the scene for minor abrasions, and refused transport. That of course is the most important thing, no serious injury. BUT OF ALL PLACES, DID IT HAVE TO HAPPEN AT A HARLEY DEALER??? :banghead:

I bought a '16 RT Special Series back in May.... my first.... and after 2400 miles I really like it. I rode a 998 when I went through the training to get my license before I bought it and I like the 1330 much better.

I turned mine into a Limited.... less the chrome. I had the dealer install the GPS and the high windshield with the adjustable vents added when I bought it.

I also added the bump skid and Rivco Highway Pegs. Just had my first service done this weekend and looking forward to some cooler fall ridding. Too many days riding in the 90's this summer.... [emoji91][emoji91][emoji91]
