New Spyder Tomorrow

Picking up a new 2011 Blue RT S after work tomorrow. Purchased it from Mark's Motorsports in Enfield CT. Sold my 2008 Victory Vision to help with the purchase.

Really excited as is my wife (who also loved the Vision).

Will post more after some rides this weekend, off to the beach and beyond.

One question, where can I get the best price on the B.E.S.T insurance?
Dealer has the 3 year for $980.00.

You should be able to find it for about $200 less at another dealer. I paid $780, but dont wait too long or you will have to pay the $75 x 3 yrs fee.

How did you like the Victory vision? Just curious, as that is one of the "big" bikes with a 25" or so seat height. Did you have it with or without the touring trunk?

It was a Vision Tour Premium, every option available on the bike including a huge trunk. We loved the bike, put on 7000 miles last summer, most of it with my wife. If I were a solo rider, I would have kept the bike. The Spyder is a better bike overall for both of us.

Had a great first ride and now know why they fly off showroom floor. I quickly learned that my foot was riding the brake as the check engine light came on.

Congrats on the new ride. I test rode a Victory Tour Vision 2 years ago and really liked it. But it was not in my price range. Best of luck with your new Spyder. They really are a blast to ride.
