• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder Ryder in Sacramento, CA

Wow after about 2 months of researching the :spyder2: finally pulled the trigger last night. Picked a 2013 :spyder2:RT Limited! Started feeling a little buyers remorse while going through all the BS for financing, insurance, extended warranty, etc etc. then I got to ride it home. Little nervous getting on the Interstate, but then this calm came over me and I was in :spyder2:heaven. Thanks to a lot of you with all sorts of information that I learned from you while I was in lurk mode. I am very excited to be amongst the :spyder2: lovers. I look forward to meeting any of you in the Sacramento area, and many more as we pile on the riding miles. Woo Hoo. So my :spyder2: is as is from the factory and I was wondering what are the top 5 must have MODS that you would suggest as I begin this quest? Thanks in advance.

:congrats: :welcome:
If you're into "mods" (or "farkles"!); this place can be deadly to a wallet! :D
The Limiteds come issued with about anything that you'd need; now it's just down to personalizing your ride! :2thumbs:
:lecturef_smilie: And we need to see somr pictures... We Need Pictures.jpg

I am in Fair Oaks, Ca. and work in Folsom, Ca.
Would love to meet up for a "ryde"...haven't seen many Spyder owners in these parts and have been searching for some to ride with. Feel free to send me a PM and maybe we can set up something.

As for the Farkles...my ST-L is still stock (except the backrest). I don't have any suggestions, but am looking into mods currently. Only had her close to a couple of months.

Welcome to the :spyder2: club!!!

Congrats! Love to see another spyder ryder in Cali!

Too bad your too late for the spyders in the redwoods ride.
I for sure plan to make that ride next year.

Bob

MUST HAVE MODS

For sure I would recommend the Spyderpops bump skid as your first mod. It protects the underside of your Spyder from high spots, curbs, road kill, etc. I wouldn't be without it. You can find photos of it by searching the forum. A great investment IMO.VisitedStatesMap.jpeg

Sac spyders

Welcome. We are in Isleton with a 2012 RT Limited. A great ride we used to do in the hot summer evenings is to go down the levee roads to Isleton and back to our home in Elk Grove. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Gay ;)

Welcome to your new addiction!

I live in Fair Oaks and belong to the Spyder Ryder of America-Sacramento chapter. Send me a PM if you'd like to know more about the group. You don't have to be a member to ride with us, but you are welcome just the same.

:congrats: and :welcome:
