• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi everyone, picked up my rt limited (white) on sat. morning. rode home to douglasville ga.(about 34 miles) in 100+ degrees. i felt like a piece of bacon in the frying pan. researched forums for about 2 weeks trying to decide between a harley trike or the spyder. needless to say the spyder won big. i traded my 1992 harley dyna glide (2300) miles in on the spyder. hope to do some mods in the near future. I guess the first thing i need to do is learn how to ride the thing.:dontknow: i'll probably be asking you guys plenty of questions on what and how to do things. thanks in advance and hope to see ya'll on the roads.:yes:

Ray Earls is the manager of the Rider Edge Courses and the SPyder MSF course for both Eqarl Small HD and Cartersville HD. He can be contacted at [email protected]. Course is two days and really is for experienced riders' introduction to 3 wheels. :firstplace:Think he trying to arrange a course as we speak. Look forward to riding with you any time you're avaiable.
I'm up in Waleska, just north of Canton, but could meet you most anyplace for a ride virtually any day.

Way to go Spyderman,

it's said thaat the longer one has ridden two wheels, the longer it takes to get tight on three. Being a late starter, it didn't take long. Once that feeling is there you'll wonder why you waited so long. It's soooo nice on the road. Enjoy it your new ride and........

Ride in comfort,

John

Well, you'll have to private message me and compare notes. I thought I was the only Spyder in Douglas County, but now I think there are FOUR. Check in at your convenience.:bowdown:smoky

Congratulations on your new Spyder.

Here is a link to a thread that covers a few very basic points for new owners gathered from various resources, and experience. Hope it helps you enjoy your new ride and avoid a few mistakes and bad-habits -- especially since you came from the two-wheel v-twin world. There will be some things you'll have to change.

Remember the last rule though!
