• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here goes, I bought a Spyder F3 S a week ago, over the last couple of years when I went to the dealer I sat on the F3S and thought crap this thing fits me like a glove. I wasn't sure if I wanted one. I traded my 2016 KTM Super Adventure. I didn't do any long trips on it maybe 600 KM a day. Well two weeks ago I took it to Colorado and for me that was the most painful ride I ever had. My ass and Knees were hurting real bad.

As soon was I came home I went to the dealer and told him to hammer out a good deal on the F3S, he asked me if I wanted to test drive one. I said hell no wrap her up I taking her home. I almost have 1000 Km on her and I must say for me the comfort is excellent, my ass and knees don't get sore.

I have the passenger backrest and the Route 129 windshield and they installed the Vibration dampener. I just ordered the bar clamp and GPS swivel and Lid lock from Lamonster Garage. So far I am impressed with the Spyder. I just hope they are a reliable machine. Oh ya I have 3 years warranty too.

I just wished BRP would of sold me the windshield brackets without the windshield. I will switch out the windshield to the Jurock one as they bolt to the BRP brackets.

Congratulations. ...🎉🎊🎖

Nice choice of ryde...:2thumbs: and it looks like it is suiting you just fine...:ohyea::ohyea:

Welcome to the best site for information on Spyders. And watch your language. A lot of people get upset when you use the word "knees" on here. LOL

Like Fossil Rider I just got a Spyder F3 Dayton. I have been trying to find some instructions of adjusting the foot pegs using the 4U system. Can anyone help.

If you have push button shift, you will only need to purchase the brake shaft for a longer or shorter one depending on which way you want to go. If you have the manual version you'll need to get the shifter shaft to match as well. If you run your fingers along the inside of the frame, you can locate all the holes into which the peg bracket will fit. It's about 2 inches each step.

I did the forward move so I had to buy the longer lever for the brake (have push button). However, I found that the brake pedal was till too tall so I removed the shaft and drilled a hole a bit more toward the yoke. Re-installed and the brake lever is about an inch more forward. Works great. I got the extended brake pedal and can rest my foot on it while riding and not trip the brake lights.

Well I bit the bullet.

Well I went to ride an F 3 S, to compare it to the Limited I rode a couple of weeks ago. I like the F3 s better because it was more like riding a motorcycle. I don't do do any long distance riding anymore, so a sporty F3 S was right for me. Got a 2017 F3 S Daytona for the same price as a 2016 left over unit, so I am happy. But I have a question. Can-am website and you tube videos say that the Daytona come with a back seat and a cowl to replace the back seat. My dealer says no it come with a back seat OR a cowl. Am I getting the shaft?
