• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi Folks,
Been lurking here for a while - (sorry). Trying to gleen as much info on Spyders as I could.
Took the plunge today. Put a deposit down on a new 2017 RT Limited in white pearl.
Added a few options. Should get it in "about" a week. Hopefully we'll be at Spyderfest next year????

Thank's

Congratulations. ...🎉🎊🎖

You will have to confirm this with a picture...:lecturef_smilie: when you get it home. Keep a serious face for the next week cause after that you will not be able to stop smiling...😆😆😆

Welcome and Congrats :agree::agree::agree: Still in my honeymoon year with my '13 Spyder RTL and I've learned so much here that's helped me(us) enjoy our Spyder so much. Just did a 1700+ mile weekend road trip and the Spyder was flawless.

Congrats

You will love it - I am new to Spyder riding as well and having a blast - now all we need is some decent weather!
Where are you in Ontario?

Welcome to the Spyder World...

... and we all know that you will have the time of your life ryding your new Spyder. As was said, read the "Dos and Donts" - invaluable information. We've been owners (2010 RT) since last August and I have reread those about three times....
Welcome! If you have questions, ASK! The folks here are very helpful....
Jim

 I feel that I must warn you. :lecturef_smilie:

Don't forget to brush your teeth after EACH ride!! :D

Does that mean there are 3 of us in Hamilton? Hey - let's form a club!

Congratulations, and welcome to the group. If you are in the Peterborough, ON, area, or ever riding through, perhaps we'll see you on the roads. Reading the posts on this site is immensely helpful, and good preparation for ownership. Ask your dealer to loan you the ownership manual for your new bike while you're waiting for it to be prepped. Mine did, and I spent the pre-delivery week going through it, as well as following posts here. Happy ryding ahead.
