New Spyder Owner from Fl's Treasure Coast

Hi all, My name's Andy. The wife and I are set to take delivery of our new '12 Limited RT this Saturday. I was guided to the site by our Salesman who said this was the site to be on. Though we haven't picked it up just yet, we are chompin at the bit to get it. Could of had it already but we are having additional lights added along with highway pegs for me

I have been looking around to see if there are any groups in my area but no luck as yet. I'm just north of the Palm Beaches in South Florida. Anyway, Happy to be here and looking forward to sharing pics on our delivery come Saturday 04/14/12. :thumbup:

Welcome Andy. I'm fm The Pembroke Pines area of South Florida, but still in the U.S. I have a white 2011 Spyder RT Ltd...and love it. Nice to have more riders in South Florida. No rider groups down here that I have found, but I estimate about 10 or more Spyders in the Pembroke pines/Weston/ft Lauderdale area. We should able to get something growing as the bike popularity grows.

Enjoy your new toy as soon as you can, and as much as you can.

Thank you all for the kind welcome. Gonna have to find these "Hooligans". It will be nice to have some Spyder Riders to hang with. I'm on the hunt for a trunk carrier for our Boss "Zorro" who goes wherever we go as the Mrs. won't leave him behind for nothing...lol. Not that he would let us anyway . Looks like that's the case for you too CyncySpyder

Yes, the Mods have started even before delivery but surely there's a ways to go. I'd like to find a louder muffler as the bike is way too quite especially after having had Harley's in the past that rattled teeth being so loud and a Sport bike that screamed. Don't want anything like that anymore but do want something that others can hear while we're around them. I'm a believer that loud pipes save lives and there's always that one that says they didn't see me :banghead: With all the lights and a louder pipe there will be no excuses for not putting a boot to an AZZ if we get cut off by some knuclehead....lol.

Anyway, glad to be here and Saturday can't get here fast enough. I'll post pics asap when we pick it up.

If you like you can PM me and give me your E-mail address and our a phone number we'll let you know when a ride our a meet and greet is coming up. The last ride went to Savannah,Ga 3/30 to 4/1 three day ride. Wright now everyone, our I should say a few of us 20-30 are getting ready to go to Cuba,Mo for the SpyderFest, It's one of the biggest gathering of spyder in the U.S. around 400 to 500. If you get your spyder on the 14th, there are few in your area just post a meet and greet and a date and time were to meet. see what happens. Have fun and be safe. The group going to Cuba, MO Starts pulling out around the 4/21/12 it's a two or three day trip to get there.
