• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Problems finding the time to ryde
Problems wishing the workday was only 15 minutes long... WITH A LUNCH
Problems being away from the home every evening
Problems with the grandson wanting rides
Problems wishing I was retired so I had more time
Problems figuring where to start with upgrades

... I like these kind of problems!!!

I am guessing that is a very common set of problems--but no one has posted them before. Thanks for giving me more to think about now. :roflblack:

Maybe I'm just a bit gun-shy now...
I was avoiding this thread because I wan't looking forward to hearing of another Spyder owner who wasn't having a good day... :opps:
But these are the kind of days (and problems) that we all wish for!
Thanks Dave! :firstplace:

I actually thought the title would draw new / perspective Spyder owners in. It is true that when searching forums you hear alot more negative, but that's due to the folks positng their questions looking for help. With such an abundance of such negative posts, people may be a tad gun shy about making such a purchase. I had thought of starting a post called "Why am I having so much :cus: fun?" too :)

In reality, the ONLY issue I have encountered (other than the loose nut behind the handlebars), is that my Frunk button doesn't seem to work. Since the key does, and it is only 3 inches away from the button, I didn't see any cause for alarm. At the 600 mile visit, I'll let them know. Other than that, it was well worth the investment, the wait for the dealer, and I don't think I'll miss my SRT Caliber - which I agreed to give up due to my toy box getting too full...

If you pop the Frunk open and take a look at the switch, ( kind of under the righ headlight just above the frunk opening), You might see whether or not it's been bent...
It sits under that right side black panel... There's a relief in the panel where a little "springy switch arm***" kind of pokes through...
You can often straighten it back out yourself if it's been buggered up.

*** Scotty ain't here and I'm no good at descriptions! :opps:

No advice for the loose nut issue? :dontknow:

:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

If those were my ONLY problems, I'd be happier!!! ;)

It's too hot here today--especially when you have asthma.....:mad: We have a breeze that feels like you stepped in front of a huge hair dryer on the "high" setting!!! YUCK!!!!
