• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm a brand new Spyder 2014 RT Limited owner in black currant and I love the bike, but I just recently drove it home from the dealer and parked it in the garage to add some graphics to it. After I completed the graphics about two days later and moved the bike for the first time there was a puddle of oil under the bike. I took it right back to the dealer who apologized and investigated the problem. What they found was that Can-am has issued a bulletin stating that if this happens on the 2014 RTs it is a problem with the type of "Loctite" (sealant) that was used on one of the bolts. The Loctite was replace with a different brand and everything is working fine.

I believe they were suppose to replace the set screw as well. Happened to mine as well, and they had to order two kinds of Loctite and a new set screw

Congrats

:congrats: on your new ryde. They are right on about the screw and the locktite. To bad the dealer did not catch it before delivery. At least they are on top of it now.

Whats your Vin #. I know the early RTs had this problem but I thought they caught it early enough that they fixed the problem at the factory .:congrats:on the new:spyder2: and heres to miles of smiles.

:congrats: On the new Spyder, My dealer during the set up for delivery they
did the mod on it. All the dealers have gotten a letter on this fix. Your dealer should
have done the fix during the set and delivery for you. It's a small fix they will have you
riding in no time. I'm sure you will have lots of fun.

:congrats: on the new bike! :2thumbs:
What's the last six digist of your Bike's V.I.N., and when was it built?
The TSB for this issue came out on january 22nd (I think...)

:congrats: on your new :spyder:.............make plans to come to Spyderfest so you can spend some of your "farkle" money with the vendors who will be there!:roflblack:
