• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New sport...tire ski jumping

That was fun. ...

Glad to see we are not the only one spending big bucks to find useless information....:roflblack::roflblack:

I liked it when they turned "TireZilla" loose, and it busted almost everything in it's path... :2thumbs:
It didn't jump the farthest; but nobody cared! :roflblack:

But there's no-one INSIDE the tire!! :yikes:

What's the point of rolling a tire down a slope like that without someone inside it?!? :dontknow:

Disclaimer: Do not try this at home or on any ski-jump ramp kiddies, no matter how much fun it might look/sound like being! It'd be sorta like riding the spin cycle in your washing machine (another thing NOT to try!) only add getting the machine with you still inside & spinning dropped out of a third floor window as the spin cycle winds down.... the ride itself might be sorta fun (if you are into throwing up!) but the thud at the end would probably be terminal!!

Eastern Oregon logging road

This reminds me of guys rolling old tires down a mountain near where I lived back in the 1950s. When the road was built, many rocks rolled down into the farm fields at the bottom of the mountain. It tore out a lot of fence. Then local guys thought it would be fun to roll tires. They also tore out fence but would jump a long ways when they picked up speed. I heard that tractor tires were the best but did more damage and were harder to handle.

Kool

Speaking a skier who has jumped------ MUCH smaller hills that the in the video------- that was fasinating!!

If the ramp would have held up, it would have went the farthest. However, the carnage was much more enjoyable.

the last tire was a kenda

Couldn't have been!! No Kenda's ever been made that well!

If they rolled a Kenda down a Ski jump, it would've wobbled all over the place & likely worn thru the canvas before it hit the end - and even if it did manage to roll straight enough to reach the end, it certainly woulda collapsed the moment it hit that timber lip!! No way a Kenda could've busted thru anything!! :p

:D I think that you're right! :roflblack:  :2thumbs:

Have you ever watched a bullet come apart in mid-flight?
I've got a buddy, that owned a custom-built 220 Swift.
He decided to load some 40 grain pills in front of a "firewall load".
(Probably 4400 fps or so...)
They never made it to the target: not a single one!
About 60 yards out; you'd see a smail cloud of gray material expand outward, and the centrifugal forces tore the little guy apart... nojoke

THAT's what would happen to a Kenda! :D
