• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just had my new side vents installed thanks to BRP - Yeah! I looked down them, and there are a lot of electrical wires hanging there, with connectors and so forth. I assume these will be ok when it rains?
No report on resolution of heat issue, got to ride it a bit more, but so far they really do look nice!!

The loose connectors are items and accessories not installed on your bike they have rubber plugs over the contacts at least the ones on mine does

Relax..!!

factory connections are water tight. Custom, diy types maybe not so much depending on who does it...

No connection I have seen on the my Spyder is waterproof. With out pictures. I don't know what your looking at. From ridding off road for a number of years and seeing others in the wet and getting water in their wires and getting stuck. There are products that you can spray on the connections and the wiring to help keep the water out, some of those sprays can cause more problems than they help. I rode my 2011 RS-S SE5 in heavy rain and had no problems. That's IMHO.
