• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Sheepskin Seat for RT

Received in my new sheepskin seat from Blacksheep Trading Co in Maine last week, and got it installed. I'll post some pictures later this afternoon.

It looks great! Very comfortable. Haven't taken any long rydes yet, so the numb butt issue is yet to be determined. But I think it will be a huge upgrade. Between this and my Airhawk R, I should be all set!

How do you guys protect this seat from rain? There doesn't seem to be a lot of talk about it. The seat will hold up to rain, if course. But who wants to sit on a wet seat? And who wants to go through the trouble of pulling it off and washing it when it gets wet?

I did a Google search, and found a nice looking waterproof seat protector from King of Fleece.

Have any of you ever used this seat cover? They say it works real well as a ride-on seat cover and will protect the sheepskin. Should be able to install it over the sheepskin in seconds, without having to remove the seat.

:congrats:
I never heard of sheep wearing raincoats... :D
But if it dones get wet; you might just want to make sure that it gets dried-out, before laying it back over top of your seat...
Mildew...

Yeah, problem is having to completely remove the seat to get it wrapped on firm. Not a big fan of removing the seat.

Got my wet yesterday. Took it off the Spyder when I got home, was dried (mostly) by today. Took my dog brush and brushed it out. Will put it back on the Spyder seat later today.

I had Sheep cover, I asked the sales guy," what happens when it gets wet?" He took a small bucket of water and poured it over the cover, he then picked it up and said,"what do sheep do when they get wet? They shake off." After a shake and running his hand over it several times the cover was good to go.
