• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Ryder

Hi all. I'm from the DFW area of Texas and I have loved the look of a Spyder for years. This year, I decided to make it more than a dream and do something about it. I just took a riding class so I could get the trike endorsement for my license and will probably buy my Spyder this week. I am looking at a 2016 F3-T. It's new/untitled and has less than 200 miles. They are discounting it like crazy and it seems like a good deal. It's silver with an orange frame. I'll know more later in the week, but I'm pretty excited. :)

Welcome and good luck with your purchase! Plenty of knowledge here, particularly if you search the archives for answers to particular questions/issues. Also plenty of "live" help from experienced owners. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Welcome, welcome 👍

Welcome to this most informative site and soon to the spyder world...congrats in advance...:2thumbs: soon you can scatch it off your bucket list and get out there in the wind. There is some great ryding in your neck of the woods...enjoy:clap:

:welcome: and :congrats: on your pending purchase. Post a picture or two once you get it home.

Recommended above: The do's and don'ts are a good read.

What dealership did you purchase at ..?

Texas Adventure Powersports in Richardson. Their financing was not very good, but I got good financing from CityCU. I will pick up my spyder tomorrow or Friday!

I got a 2016 F3-T SE6 in Magnesium with the orange bars. The only thing I had added was the driver's footboards in black. I am so excited!!

I already got a Sedici full face helmet and a Sena 10s bluetooth. I will need gloves and boots, but I am in the process of losing about 65 lbs so I don't want to get a jacket that will be too big in a couple of months.

...and on your weight loss efforts. You might want to check out the Spyders in the Hills rally coming up in October over in Boerne.

As I have said many times, tire pressure is important for a smooth ride. Try 18 front and 30 rear and go up or down from there. Enjoy.
