• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New RT

We picked up our new RT Limited Thursday June 30th. Rode it home it home made some air pressure and shock adjustments based on this forum and took it back out. The bride and I rode it to work Friday and loved. 5:00 am Saturday we left Birmingham for Baton Rouge. By Sunday night we now have 600 miles on it and will be heading home to Birmingham Monday.
I really appreciate all the advice on this forum. If I had not read all the posts on this site i would have really been in trouble. I realize that the Spyder is a fairly new and the some of the dealers dont have a ton of experience. When I checked the air pressure on the ride home the front tires were low and not even. The back tire was low and the front shocks were on 2. We rode to Baton Rouge with the front tires on 18, rear on 30 and the front shocks set in the 4th notch.
Also I had read a lot about heat so I had ordered the cat heat shields from spyderpops before I picked the bike up. I rode it for 90 miles before I put them on and they make a big difference.
When we got to BR my wife made me wash the bike to get all the bugs off. We now have a new saying when we want to go ride. We just say "hey, it's time to feed the Spyder"

You have no idea how much fun you will enjoy with your new Spyder. Seat time is the learning curve so get going. :congrats:
