The new heavy duty Smoothspyder SS Tensioners for the RT models have been tested and are now available.
This model mounts on the swing arm and the idler goes on the top of the belt.
The tension applied is fully adjustable using the time tested, maintenance free, dual compression spring rotary tensioner.
The mounting bracket is 3/16" stainless steel and is easily secured to the swing arm with a 3/8" U-bolt.
The idlers are our reliable high speed, long life idlers that have been machined down to fit on the top of the belt.

The swing arm mounting system moves with the arc of the swing during suspension travel, this provides a more consistent tension with less tension spiking during suspension compression.
