New RT Rider

Hi all!

After wanting a spyder for a few years now, I finally picked up the leftover RT-S pictured below about a month ago. I grew up on snowmobiles & quads so moving over from a two wheeled street-bike was pretty easy. I still ride bikes and enjoy switching up between two & three wheels. I'm thinking about riding out to Lake George for Spyderquest, sounds like an awesome time. Great site, thanks for all the helpful info!

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone! About the picture, I rode up through Amherst NH and passed by Mike's auto repair and thought that very same thing, new & old would look very cool together.:thumbup: Spun her around and snap.

Welcome aboard! I can here from the BMW Sport Touring board in early 2012. I'm on my second RT, now a 2014 RT Limited. Quite different from my BMW R1200RT, but I have to say I'm very happy with the Spyder. I hope you find as much enjoyment with your new toy as I have with mine!
