• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New RT Limited in Blue

We just picked up our new 2016 Spyder RT limited in the new Orbital Metallic Blue. My previous was a 2011 in the orbital blue. The new 2016 appears to be a deeper richer blue than my 2011. I had the dealer put on the BajaRon anti-sway bar. Now if it would warm up above 32 degrees F for a few days we might get to ride it. My dealer indicated that he test rode it after assembly and said that it is the most stable best handling Spyder yet. It looks like BRP makes it better after each iteration.

Merry Christmas all you SpyderLovers. Ours came early!

I loved the Blue. My first one was a 2010, Orbital Blue (see pic below). If I'm not mistaken the Blue in 2011 or 2012 changed to Quantum Blue that was a shade lighter than the Orbital blue. It looks a little lighter in the sun in this picture but it is the same color as the 2016's. I traded for a '14 Black but if they had offered blue on the '14's I would have stayed with blue.

Really pretty! I love the color. I could never own one that color though, it reminds me too much of the Dodgers! I hate the Dodgers!:banghead::banghead:

Here is the sales brochure from 2011 showing it was orbital blue metallic. I believe the quantum blue came out in 2012 and 2013.
