• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NEW RT CONCEPT

Where I live traffic calming methods (forcing traffic to slow down) includes pillow humps and my Spyder RT struggles to get over these mounds of bitumen in the roadway without scraping its front end, any reduction in the ground clearance of the RT would be sure to result in damage. A 4-wheeled vehicle can straddle the humps, which makes them less effective, a 3-wheeler with a narrow front end can't avoid running over them.

A similar problem will be encountered by those who trailer their Spyder. The nose of my Spyder just barely scrapes right now when I load it. Can't really afford to give up any ground clearance in the front.

THE REAL DEAL

I real sorry that I posted drawing style pictures in this thread as I just wasn't quite ready to reveal what was in the works. Well here is the real deal on an RT for testing.

COMING VERY SOON!

 Today I helped Regge from Tricled install his new Skid Plate from SPYDERPOPS on his RTS. That is one cool piece of work. Very easy to install. Regge will post some pic later. On his white RTS it just dresses up the bottom ground efficts plus protect the front end. Good job Harv.

Function?

Is it protective of the bottom spoiler or just an aerodynamic enhancer? In other words, what is it made of and will it take the inevitable bottoming out hits that we all experience?

And, oh yeah, cost and availability, please.
