• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I enlarged the drawings so you can see what's up front. Not air intakes. It may be hard to see as it is so natural.

Sorry but the picture is not clear enough to make out anything subtle.. How about just telling us what is going on?

I clicked on your Drawing and was sent to your album to the "Stuff"page. Looks like a reinforcement piece for the air dam on the front of the RT?:popcorn::popcorn:

New RT Concept

Could this be a Front Spoiler -

A spoiler is an automotive aerodynamic device whose intended design function is to either create downforce or reduce drag. Spoilers on the front of a vehicle are often called air dams, because in addition to directing air flow they also reduce the amount of air flowing underneath the vehicle which generally reduces aerodynamic lift

The pictures seem to show an extra piece of Front body work like a double skin Spoiler

Just my guess

:agree: if Eddie is correct , a spyder outfitted with one should get better fuel mileage.:firstplace::clap::popcorn::popcorn:

Well, if it were to cover the cavity under the nose it would certainly cut back on the drag!

Spyderpops this is a great idea. I saw the black piece right away and I think that it is an awesome addition. I would in a heart beat order this if it was available. Im a sculptor and I have a few ideas for the air wings on the sides of the rt to make an entire new piece that would see a set of hi-way foot rests built right in. I can carve it out of urathane foam then fiberglass them with a bit of aluminium for strength, just an idea but this front spoiler looks great. It kind of looks like the kit you can order on the new Camaro's and that looks awesome. Great work is this an actuall casted piece or just a drawing hard to tell.

Would it prevent this from happening?

I went through the pics on your stuff album . From the looking at the nose of the white RT limited I get your concept and I think its great:firstplace:

Looks like great idea and looks pretty good , but also looks like you'd be losing 2 inches or so of ground clearance

Where I live traffic calming methods (forcing traffic to slow down) includes pillow humps and my Spyder RT struggles to get over these mounds of bitumen in the roadway without scraping its front end, any reduction in the ground clearance of the RT would be sure to result in damage. A 4-wheeled vehicle can straddle the humps, which makes them less effective, a 3-wheeler with a narrow front end can't avoid running over them.

Hey Harvey, it looks like you got that concept perfected. You had described to me what you were thinking about when at Biketoberfest in Daytona. Great job and it looks fantastic. Keep up the good work.
