• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is apparently the latest thing in riding jackets. It will add a new dimension to ATGATT.

The link worked for me. I'd consider it as a distracting novelty item.

I had them surgically implanted in my back so it would work when I wear my flip-flops, short pants and no shirt. The only problem is I don't like where the battery goes...

I see the jacket lights as mostly useless on a sport bike. Yes, you can see the arrows in this video but that is because the rider is sitting up. Let's see another while he is in the tucked position. I don't think the arrows will be seen, especially from a lower angle, as you would have in a compact car. Just my 2 cents...

I'm sure it might wok for me too

but there is no link in the original post that I can see. It must be like the emperors new clothes.:roflblack:

What Icon

I see no ICON and no indications using the curser of anything to click on. When I said this is all I see that is exactly what I meant.

Yep, that was it. The emperor's new outfit, with flip-flops, is the new style for Spyder riding.

No seriously, there was a picture there when I posted it. For those geek types who want an explanation... The video is in Adobe Flash format, which is not supported by the forum software, so I posted a picture with a link to the video. But I uploaded the picture as a remote "attachment" rather than uploading it directly to the page from a permanent link. Then after that I deleted the attachment and the picture was still there, so I posted it. However, the picture was only still there in my browser cache. If a leave the attachment there, you can now see the picture with the embedded link (I hope). Sorry about that.

Thank you for posting the information.

The link goes to Facebook for me and then the video plays.

Interesting concept if you are in the proper riding position for people to view. A strong lean will make the arrows go up or down. :roflblack::roflblack:

Joking aside, I would not like to use a system like that if I had to plug in to the bike. That is why I do not wear heated gear.

I am guessing a novelty at first, but will have to see if it becomes a standard item. It does give everyone another choice for safety gear.
