• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WOW! WOW!! WOW!!!.:yikes:
Just traded my 2013 RTS for a 2014 RT Limited "Pearl White" I thought I was a happy camper when riding the 13 but the 14 is so far advanced in so many ways. The 1330 is unbelievable, and I love the extra gear. I must admit that with all the discussions about the recall on the 13, I felt that I needed to sell mine just in the event that BRP was unsuccessful in performing a FIX on the heat problem. At least this is what I convinced myself of. Sure glad I listened to myself for a change. HA HA HA
:yes::yes::yes:

I've already ordered a Bump skid w/LED's, and planning on upgrading horn.

I sincerely hope that BRP will FIX the 13's, and the value of the 13's go up.

Congratulations..!!

it's good to see you found a great ryde. They are different. Enjoy it and enclose a picture with your next post...:2thumbs:

What kind of comments/feedback did you get from the dealer re: your 2013? Did he low ball you, act like the 2013 is a sick dog and not worth much, or exude some semblance of optimism that the 2013s will end up being an OK marketable machine? Or did you not really care and just wanted to get rid of it? Just trying to get some feel what the dealers' outlook may be about the 2013s since I have one and would like to move up to the 1330 eventually, like maybe this fall.

Trade in Value on 13

Actually found a used bike for sale on internet, call and it was sold but the guy told that he was a auto dealer and sometimes run up a good deal on bikes. Two days later he called and he had just bought this at a sale in Atlanta, Ga. It had only 985 miles on it. Had been traded in to a Harley Dealer and the dealership sent it straight to the sale. The original owner had purchased extended warranties on it so its cover through 2019. The guy test drove mine and agreed to take as a trade in so I actually wasn't questioned about the heat issues. If no one asks then I don't have to answer.

While at Spyder dealership doing the transfer, I ask about the recall on the 13's and the agent said they haven't been told anything yet, hoped that BRP will fix the heat issue. In that moment I expressed my concerns and the agent agreed and said that if the Fix, doesn't Fix then the value of the 13's would decrease, in their personal opinion. Now, that is only their opinion.

That sure wouldn't happen here. The guy who owns High Dessert HD in Boise also owns Birds of Prey Motorsports in Caldwell. They're about 20 miles apart. BOP is one of the two local Can Am dealers!
