• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Reverse Shifter mod....

If you move the shift lever down anyone can shift with no problem. My wife is 5'2 1/2 and had a hard time moving the shift lever into reverse. I simply removed the shift lever from the bike and reinstalled it in a lower position. No need to buy any thing for the shift lever to make it easier to use. Here is a link on how to do it. It really is easy and make all the difference in the world. I don't understand why Can Am didn't position it in that location to begin with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvILrxofOJc

That sounds like a lot of fun, but how about a suicide shift with a throttle on one side of the handlebars and spark on the other. That kept you busy!

Put the new shifter on the wife's Rally. Excellent addition. However, I told her last year when we bought her bike that I don't know why they didn't put a shift lever like the old shovelheads had. I could'a been rich right now.

Would look good with some red accents

Thanks for the tip - will look into it and see if I am brave enough to try it.

Also been thinking of painting the knob yellow with auto paint and then use a black auto paint pen to draw a smiley on it.
