• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. New Reverse Shifter mod....

gkamer

Sadly passed away, December '23.
Came across this today.......

Might be a little spendy for some. Pre-Order only right now.

First HD I rode was in 1960 or so and had a hand switch coming up beside the fuel tank.

Great accessory. If I had a Ryker, I would jump on this one. Cool, different, functional. :firstplace:

A tad pricey at $179.95....BUT...I would want one anyway.

I like it, but I don't $180 like it.

Hopefully someone else will come out with something priced a little more realistic.

That would be a nice addition to the Ryker! Installation video looked easy enough! For those that have a Ryker, nice addition if you choose it.

I'm seriously considering it. But I'll hold off for now, see what might be coming down the pike. :)

Interesting and if you compare price to other accessories not really out of line. Hmm replaceable ball, opens a whole extra customization options...

Nothing seems to be cheap for these trikes from that group of popular vendors. Got to pay to play, cost of admission I guess!

Id be a buyer at under $100.... but for me its just the cool factor... ive had no issues shifting from forward to revers with my foot so its not a need

Looks like a killer option. Can't wait ...

PS - anyone complaining about the price - I paid three times that for a jockey shift on my Ural, and figure it was money well spent ...

Wondering who will be the first person to put a skull head on the shifter? :roflblack:

What else is there? :spyder:

I'm actually considering getting one of these too. I'm not crazy about the price and I would feel guilty spending that much on myself...but I could ask for it as a birthday gift.

An "eight ball" was also popular back in the day. That might look very cool on the Ryker.

Unless you're handicapped, or really short, I dont understand why people are putting levers, grips, handles, motorcycle gear shift levers or anything else to assist in shifting. If you shift it as its designed, and as this young lady explains, it doesn't get any easier.

I don't have any trouble shifting it, other than its an annoyance sometimes hunting around for it with my foot. I just think the lever/knob would be fun...and the Ryker is all about fun.

I’ve pre-ordered. My wife is 5’0”, and finds the stock lever too awkward. It’s worth the 180 to let her relax about reversing.
