New Rear Tyre

I have just put a Toyo Proxes 4 Sports Tuner 225/50R15 on my RT. It has a really deep tread and good pattern. $160 plus $80 for fitting. Got it from Tyre Power and had it fitted by my local bike mechanic.
My dearler wanted $325 plus $100 fitting for a Kenda. No way!!!
Only got 13750Klms out of the original. Hope to get a few more from the Toyo. Will look at matching the fronts when the time comes.
Will keep you posted as to wear and performance.

Congratulations on finding a good alternative to the "Chicken Skins" that they wrap around the rims from the factory!:2thumbs: Do you have any pics available to show that tire? Mine are still too new to replace, but it never hurts being prepared for all eventualities...

does Toyo make a size for the front exactly or are you going slightly wider?

That model does not come in a 14" tire.

Tread patterns will be a bit different on the front wheels!!!! Then again big fat tyres on the front would look pretty mean.:shemademe_smilie:
