• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Rear Tire

New member
I just had a new Kenda installed and after talking to a few guys who run lower then recommended tire pressure I have decided on 24 psi in my rear tire and no noticeable difference on handling even at high speeds. One thing I did notice on my new tire even with lower pressure is the high center tread when looking down at the rear tire. It seems rounded higher in the center. Almost like the sidewalks are in to much as on to narrow a rim. Just an observation and time will tell if lower pressure will give me even wear across the tread. My old tire was worn in the middle with good tread on the sides and it was at 28psi all the time. He's hopin!!

iAuto transmission, RT, Clutch Question[/h]
Wife and I went to the Tail of the Dragon, NC. going down the hill I used the engine to slow us down, 4th and 3rd gear, would doing so, dammage the transmission?? during the ride my transmission light start to flash on and off on the computer screen. I stoped and checked the oil level, it was OK, the light went out and it ran OK the rest of the day. When I got home (Florida) I took to the dealer, they said they had to replace the clutchs. By puting it in a lower gear down hill, like you do in your auto, do dammage to the clutches??

Not to sure about that. Once in gear the clutches are fully ingaged and should not slip or cause wear, I would think. I took a couple of car courses and one thing the instructor told us was that brake pads are cheaper then clutches and easier to replace. He suggested to use the brakes not the engine to slow down. I have never used my auto tranny to gear down or slow me down. Maybe a lesson learned and you should be on the side of caution next time. I hope BRP covered it under warranty!
