• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New rear shock

Well, had the first mechanical fix on the:spyder2:. Noticed about 2 weeks ago, there was some "slap" on the rear. Standing on the passenger foot pegs and jumping up and down I could hear the shock bottoming out on rebound. Quick trip to the dealer confirmed it and parts were ordered. Just got back from the dealer and happy to report all is well, new shock on the back. It's a 2012 version, so hopefully it will hold up better than the old one which had just 2000 miles.

I had the same problem last year but the dealer didn't replace the shock when I first brought it in. A few months later it had to be replaced. No problems since.

I have a 2010 RT-S SE5 had to have rear shock replaced this spring at 5282 miles . Dealer tech was servicing spyder and he had it out for a test ride when he blew out the rear shock so it was replaced under warranty. No problems since :thumbup:
