There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I wonder how much difference that would make for my hands when riding in cold weather. I have liners and base layers and have tried different gloves, but my fingers are always freezing on a cold weather ride. Would this make a difference for me?

Reacher, I hate giving opinions on issues like this as we are all different and have different thresholds, and live in different climates....... but..... I have both the F4 and Madstad screens. I found that the F4 was a bit cooler during winter due to the bottom cutouts, and the Madstad a lot hotter in summer, as it DOESN’T have the bottom cutouts. Thus....F4 in summer and Madstad in winter. The F4 is my preferred screen, and while I haven”t yet bought the F4 wings, I will be buying them shortly as I believe this will allow me to leave the F4 on, all year round.

I haven't install mine yet because bike was already in storage. My hands were cold this fall so I made some solid mount wings for mine. Not as good looking as F4 customs are. But kept the wind off my hands. So I believe these will be even better. Go for it.

The air wings do a great job in taking the air off of your hands. I ride a F3 also and love the change it has made.

I have the F4 Customs windshield on both my RT and F3 and am very happy with them. I have the baker built air wings on my F3 and like the idea of having the upper air wings also. May order a set and put them on this winter. I have always been curious to why the windshield was designed to follow the bracket instead of coming straight down. This would give a little better hand protection to start with.

The F4 cutouts give you more airflow in summer, wrb.......it’s a “dammed if you don’t, dammed if you do” scenario. I find my Madstad (without the cutouts), a bit stifling in summer. The new F4 wings now give you the best of both worlds.......clever idea.

You are exactly right. I personally ride a F3 Limited and it is nice to open them up in warm weather and get more air flow but on cooler rides shut them off and get the additional protection.

Got mine this past Saturday. Called Don Monday to get a couple things squared away on the stacking of washers and the position of the upper bracket. Once I had that information it was GO time. Tuesday around 11 am I gathered all necessary tools and started work. Couple hours later they were on the bike and adjusted to my liking. I kept the big center rubber washer out which made the top of the wing closer to the bottom of the windshield. Don't know if I will leave it like that or not. Hoping for a serious test run this coming Monday. Weather will be in the 30's---should be a good test!!

I'm a bit confused. Mine came assembled. Can't install till spring. No washers or nuts, bolts came with them. Looks like you just remove existing nuts and install wings and replace nuts. Am I missing parts.

NO, I had some issues that Don was kind enough to straighten me out on and I decided to remove the big center rubber washer to get the wings closer to the bottom of the windshield. Test next week will tell me if I want to keep the washers out or put them back in. Either way, it is mostly a personal preference thing. I had to drill my holes because I purchased my F4 shield before these wings were born.

Having just switched to the Lamonster Billy Club Bars, My hands are now halfway up my 23" shield, just outside the outer edge. How will these air wings affect my
ryde?

If you have a brp windshield you can't use these. You must have an F4 customs windshield. The wings bolt to the windshield upper bracket.

I’m about to order a pair, AY, and I’ll let you know how they work with my Billy Clubs when they arrive.......but, as JP says, you need an F4 screen to connect them to, and your signature says you have a BRP Touring screen.;)
