• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went to start my Ryker 900 (6985 miles) today and got NO RESPONSE when pushing the start button. The gage cluster did not come on so there is no code to tell me what's wrong. So, checked the battery, 13.4 volts, checked all fuses, none appear blown, checked any and all connectors visible in the front compartment. When pushing the start button, a low level buzz can be heard from somewhere up front but impossible to narrow it down. I'm stumped. Any ideas?? Dealer is 10 miles away, will need a tow if I have to take it in.

Apply the brake, press the start button. Gauge will light up. Roll off throttle, press start button again. See if it fires. If not, call me. Joe

~~~I'd take a good look at the battery connection/terminals and make sure they are tight. Sounds like a loose battery connection, and check the ground wire, the one the negative battery hooks up to the frame. That's where I'd start
That said, I'm surprised your volt meter shows 13.4 volts , if you're measuring at the battery. That's very high. I typically see 12.8 volts when checking any of my 12 volt battery applications. Do you have a second voltmeter to check the first against?
Yes, I second that. I just had a very similar incident happen to me.
The bolt for the connector was just a hair too long and bottomed out against the battery, so the bolt couldn't be tightened anymore, but there was just enough play in the connection to break contact. I wound up installing a washer to take up the slack. All is good now.
