• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just bought a 2014 RS SM5 Pearl White to be delivered whenever the weather up here permits. really excited to get it out on the road this summer and put some miles on it!

Congrats on your purchase, you will be smiling soon enough. Enjoy yourself, the weather will get better eventually.

Congratulations!

You may be excited now, but the actual riding experience is so much more.

You our have miles of smiles in front of you.

I am also a new RS owner

I bought my new 2014 RS sm5 two months ago. I have ridden 2 wheels for decades and found the transition difficult. The first couple of rides I was sure that I had made a huge mistake as I felt very out of control and as if I was going to be thrown from the Spyder. After riding several times and about 500 miles and gradually increasing confidence, I have really started enjoying the ride. Two days ago I rode 270 miles of a combination of roads from twisty to interstate. When I returned home I couldn't wait to get back on my Spyder. Now, after nearly 1,000 miles I could not be happier with the ride. I am still very green on it but the ride is spectacular.

I believe the learning curve is one reason the bike is not more popular than it is. It does take some time to establish confidence in not only yourself but in the capabilities of your Spyder.

I hope you enjoy your ride the way I am enjoying mine.

Congratulations on your new bike.

Ride Safe the more visible we are the safer we will be, and beware of your surroundings on the road.

The cars, trucks and other vehicles are not use to us( :spyder2:) being out there yet, beginning of the riding season up here in the Northeast. Deanna
