• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Owner of SpyderLovers.com 02-19-2026

I have been on this site since 2020 when I bought my first Spyder. Now, on my fourth one and I owe it to you and this site. I have bought a lot of stuff from your store and am very happy with your products and service. I have learned much from this site and all because of you. Ride on many roads brother!

May God continue to bless you, Lamont! Can’t begin to tell you how refreshing it is to have *real* customer service from Lamonster Garage - rare these days. And your installation videos for your products are very clear, very straightforward, and very accurate. I would never have tried the IPS F3 fuel cap swap w/o the video. I peruse this site just about daily to learn more about these wonderful machines. Had the privilege of meeting you briefly at the 2023 September rally BBQ in the park. (My wife and I rode the 2 F3-S’s up from Deep South Texas). Went to shake your hand, and Joan immediately intervened. Didn’t know about your health problems at the time, and have always wished to apologize for that since that time. Wishing you success in your future endeavors, and know that you are loved and admired by many, many folks on this site. Stay strong!

So sorry to hear this, Lamont, but I'm sure the site is in good hands.
I didn't find this site until I had purchased my Spyder, but it's been THE best resource for technical info, interesting ideas, and great humor and fellowship among Spyder enthusiasts.
THANK YOU for all the work you put into building and growing this site, and for being the genuine, nice guy that you are.
Please do come by when you can, and know that we're all praying for you and your family.
May God comfort you, and give you the strength to get through this. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Sometimes my wife is a little over protective but she means no harm, she's just trying to protect me. I really should do a better job myself so she doesn't have to. Glad we got to meet. Take care

One of our first big rides was to Daytona for bike week in hopes of meeting you and a spin around the track. Both accomplished in 2013. Won’t forget that anytime soon, nor will I forget what Spyderlovers has meant to me over the years. Godspeed Lamont.

I am saddened to read this, Lamont. You have helped build a strong community and your passion for the Spyder community cannot be matched. Know that your work is appreciated, and I wish all the best to you and Joan as you keep fighting the good fight together. Peace and love, sir, and thank you.

I joined this site in November 2015, not because I owned a Spyder, but because I was about to buy one for my wife. I rode a Triumph Trophy SE, and although she enjoyed being a pillion, she was always a participant, never a spectator.
Unfortunately, she had a degenerative spinal canal condition since 2002, aptly called arachnoiditis. Yes, it’s a real thing. With a somewhat limited ability to walk any distance, holding up a motorcycle was out of the question, but a Spyder caught her eye at a dealer one day. I didn’t take it seriously at the time, but eventually decided to look into these things. Months later, after secretly test riding one, I knew I had to get one for her. It was both the hardest decision and the best decision I ever made!
I joined this site and read and read to learn as much as I could about this machine. Shortly afterwards, I purchased a 2015 RT-S Special Series for her, and spent a full day teaching her how to ride something I had never ridden before, but I learned a ton of tricks and tips from this site that I passed on to her. She figured it all out almost immediately!
Over the next five or six years we managed to ride our bikes on trips from home in SoCal to as far as Jasper, Alberta, as well as all around the Colorado Rockies, and a few trips around Arizona. The Spyder was her freedom from spending most of every day in bed. Nothing made her smile more than riding that bike! She put over 44,000 miles on it in those years, but unfortunately her health continued to decline, and I lost her about 17 months ago. The Spyder remains, and I now divide my riding time between it and two other bikes.
Lamont, thank you for creating this site, as it has had a positive effect on more people than you could possibly know, even for those of us who have never posted any comments! The info provided here has helped me many times over the years, and the parts you’ve provided via the garage has always proved to work well. Thank you again, and wishing you nothing but the best!

So sorry for your loss, Spyderitis. It soulds like you had some wonderful years riding together, and we know your loving wife is looking down on you with a smile every day you ride.
