• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Owner/Lamonster I am Back !

:welcome:and :congrats: on your :spyder2:. There are several :spyder2:'s in your area and in Portland/Vancouver area too.

Welcome Back and :congrats: on your purchase. You are now a member of the exclusive 1330/Cognac club.:cheers:

Thanks everyone. Glad to be here and my first immpressions of the Spyder is that I will like it ! I look forward to learning a lot here ! Ride safe !
I still ride with some of my buddies that have M109s, and when I look at their bikes, I still miss it. But when someone ask me how I feel about the spyder, I can truly say that I like it more each and every time I ride it.

I knew Lamonster back on the M109 Boulevard Forumn. I still have the 2008 Boulevard and will get it up for sale, I checked out the Spyders back in 2009 and joined this forumn then. :D

Today I bit the bullet and brought home a new 2014 Spyder ST Limited Cognac (orange) color. I think I got a great deal and the bike is beautiful.

I am getting older and have some health issues that are making 2 wheeling not as fun, more painful and too risky. The Spyder lets me not to have to worry about balance and brings some confidence back to again have some great riding experiences. :ohyea: I also look forward to learning a lot about the Spyder from you guys and gals...maybe attend some ride events too. I am now pretty much retired so I have more free time.

I will update my profile and get a avatar and some photos up soon.

Keep the shiny side up !

My situation too. I rode two wheelers, all makes for over 50 years, but in my 70s it was not as much fun and I found myself having to decide if I really wanted to ride. Traded in a 1993 Goldwing SE and a 2006 Harley Electra Glide and got a 2014 RT-S in February, and never looked back. Enjoy your new ride and be SAFE.
Welcome from Central Washington State.
