• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Owner/Lamonster I am Back !

New member
I knew Lamonster back on the M109 Boulevard Forumn. I still have the 2008 Boulevard and will get it up for sale, I checked out the Spyders back in 2009 and joined this forumn then. :D

Today I bit the bullet and brought home a new 2014 Spyder ST Limited Cognac (orange) color. I think I got a great deal and the bike is beautiful.

I am getting older and have some health issues that are making 2 wheeling not as fun, more painful and too risky. The Spyder lets me not to have to worry about balance and brings some confidence back to again have some great riding experiences. :ohyea: I also look forward to learning a lot about the Spyder from you guys and gals...maybe attend some ride events too. I am now pretty much retired so I have more free time.

I will update my profile and get a avatar and some photos up soon.

Keep the shiny side up !

:congrats:
On your new Spyder. I know what you mean about loosing the fun fact due to health / balance issues riding on two wheels. That also happened to me two years ago, but my Spyder brought that fun all back for me as it is for you.
 To all your new adventures :ohyea:

Welcome! I was/am in a similar situation. I owned an 06 & 07 M109 and am still a member over at the M109forums. Even tho I joined the spyder forums in 2013, I didn't get one until Sept. 2014. If you think the M109 forums is active and helpful, you have seen nothing. This group seems to be more active than most groups that I am a member of. I was torn between the sportier ST and the RT, but the 1330 engine won me over. Either way, enjoy your ride and welcome home.

:congrats:
On the new Spyder. I would suggest that you sign up for Spyders in the Redwoods. Held in the general vicinity of Eureka California. Go to spydersintheredwoods.com for more details. This year we will be sponsored bt BRP.

Congratulations..!!

welcome to the roadster world. Your going to love the ryde and soon forget the little things that brought you here. I came not for those reasons but regret not switching sooner. This is just all kinds of fun..!! :ohyea::ohyea:

Glad to have you in the fold once again. The Spyder is a great machine and as much as I still love two wheelers I find the Spyder pretty much gets all my attention. :doorag:
