• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Picked it up from the local dealer in southwest Portugal yesterday. I found the transition from motorcycle easy. It felt a bit flat, though. But when I got home, I realised I'd been in economy-mode. The ''frunk'' feels a bit flimsy, and the rear-seat flimsily attached, but other than that, it is clearly a quality machine.

welcome, welcome

Welcome to the spyder world and this most informative site. Nice choice of color. Enjoy the the whole experience and the miles of smiles.

Congrats!... or as they say there Parabéns.

Oh yes, ECO mode has a noticeable flatter acceleration curve. Good for the break in period and to somehow acknowledge the ideal shifting revs.
That said I've switched OFF mine after that, never turned it on again. I rather have the control of power or economy under my fist.
You also have the Sport mode which will loosen the rear a bit more (without shutting down completely the VCS).

By frunk is a bit flimsy, you mean the hood? yes, indeed it feels a bit fragile. Still mine as been holding alright.

About the seat, it does need to be a bit loose because of the passenger switch under.
But check the post bellow, I had to adjust mine (better, but still not perfect) as they seem to be coming out of the factory a bit high:

:congrats: On the new F3S  Make sure and post some photos of your new ride in the Spyder Garage area of the forum.

In a couple of weeks, I am going on a tour of Portugal, Spain, France, Andorra and back into Spain and through it following a different route and home to southwest Portugal. I will take my camera and post some photos when I get back.
Thanks for the info on Sports mode, and the fact it ''loosens'' the rear end up, MotoShark2. It's hot and sweaty in Lagos. How is it in Lisbon?

This week it's been hot as hell here in Lisbon!

If you included Cascais or Sintra in your itinerary, let me know, I might be available at the time and I'll be more than happy to meet with you and show you the region.
