Greetings,

I pick up my new 2011 Spyder RT on Thursday 5-5-11. To be honest I have 38 years on top of a bike and this sucker intimidates me.

Disabled US Army Veteran of 13 years service, Patriot Guard Rider Ride Captain NW Lower Michigan and a DAV Service Officer. Member of the VFW, American Legion and DAV.

Prior owner, Harley Classic, Vulcan Nomad 1600, Honda Goldwing and many more.

Looking forward to wrapping her in the hottest custom patriotic design in a few weeks. Turning Heads on the street and more important, enjoying the ride again. My Grand Children have named her Arachnica

Looking forward to meeting new friends.

Just take your time, relax, and the Spyder will feel second nature to you in no time. I recommend setting out the skills course outlined in the manual, and practicing a bit. There is no shame in that...I did it. It takes a little adjustment for most bike riders to get used to the Spyder. In a few hundred miles, you will feel better about it. Very capable and very safe. The bike may be the intimidator then.
