Why are you looking for an aftermarket battery?
YUASA Batteries are pretty much of a "gold standard" item: why mess with success? :dontknow:

look for something that matches up to a YTX24HL, and you should be good to go! :thumbup:

how fast...amazon prime will get it next day but you can cross reference and find Walmart sears autoparts etc carry them but call first to see the stock. They may have different brands but you do get what you pay for..:lecturef_smilie:

Unless you're in a really tight situation requiring an immediate battery change out take the time to order a Yuasa, same as OEM. The OEM really is the best overall value. I'd stay away from Wally World batteries.

Write down the make and model number of the existing battery and call around for a compatible replacement.
It should be AGM type and hopefully a well known brand.
Auto parts store or battery specialty store.

And new batteries MUST be fully charged before installing.

I'm a fan of Deka AGM power sport batteries...They last and they have a MUCH cleaner terminal attaching system...

If it is an AGM type and you keep it on a proper tender when not in use for 30 days or more, it should last AT LEAST 7 years.
That is unless you let the storage temp go below about -60 F.

I replaced the original (2011) battery this go around. It has always been on a tender for the winter sleep. I felt lucky to get six years but used a conservative number (4 years) just in case--as I don't want people to over compensate for how long it may last. When the battery does decide to go, it is never at a convenient time or place. I did not want to take that chance this riding season. Want to have fun, and not repair issues on my rides. I do thank you for your input. :yes:
