• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RoadRUNNER Rides app, sponsored by Yamaha Motorcycles

Big News! RoadRUNNER Motorcycle Touring & Travel magazine introduces a new navigation app called RoadRUNNER Rides, sponsored by Yamaha Motorcycles.

Over the last 18 years, RoadRUNNER magazine has produced more than 500+ on-the-road and off-road tours. Now motorcycle riders can take the same quality tours as seen in the magazine and effortlessly follow them out on the road.

This new app, developed over the last two years, differs from any other navigation app on the market. The 500+ RoadRUNNER tours are readily available in the app, as well as Ohio’s Windy 9 routes crafted by the good people from the Athens County Visitors Bureau. These are expertly planned tours with turn-by-turn directions and voice guidance, all on your phone. Navigation does not require any cell signal or data service once maps and routes are downloaded to a smartphone. Riders can also create their own tours directly on the phone.

Ready to ride? Search “RoadRUNNER Rides” in the app store (iOS or Android) and download. The app itself is free - create an account and look around the app and see all of the features. The navigation feature requires a paid subscription of either $5.99/month or $59.99/year (that comes with a two-week free trial).

Would love feedback on the app when someone tries it

Looks like the premium subscription is 59 a year
