• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

new muffler or no new muffler

HMF? looks to be a lower grade than most but does anyone have any experience with an HMF pipe? I really would like a LeoVince but it's twice the cost. I know you get what you pay for but I got a limit:D

I think my next choice is a two brothers single

I have had MANY pipes on my spyder, and if you want the one with no question replacement and no repack.

NMN has a exhaust coming out that is less money and very well made, plus it's custom build for the spyder.

Do you know how much and when its coming out?

I'm pretty much settled on the MBRP myself. That Two Brothers dual sounds really nice too, but cost quite a bit higher than the MBRP.

I got a Micron from NMN and have not had a lick of trouble. Many have said how much they like the sound.

That was my experience as well. It was just a little to loud for me. But sound was great.

Others had problems with them blowing out though.

I think several people have hit on the issue of noise and made some important statements. I need an muffler that gets rid of the raspy noise in my stock unit but provides a nice clean sound without pops, backfires or excessive noise. If I had wanted a Harley, I would have bought a Harley. The twin GP pipes sound the best (based on random Youtube videos but isn't available. I've heard two or three Yoshimuras but the sound quality vary so much that it is tough to determine the end result, especially when some of the examples are in-doors. My local dealer doesn't stock many options and on-line dealers don't want to take returns on mufflers. A true conundrum.

HINDLE :2thumbs:

I agree...I wouldn't get anything other than the hindle....nice, throaty sound (like that girl you dated in high school :D) and looks like it belongs on the bike. When laws really start limiting non-factory pipes due to noise ordinances, it will be nice for all to see that the hindle is a 'Can-Am' product...
