• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I think I saw the new motor that will go into the 2020 Spyders it is 1630 4 cyl it will not be supercharged and will not be push out 300 horses but will be in a detuned state at around 130 to 150 horses ...just my opinion ..what do y'all think

I think you should post a picture or a reference.

Sorry my mistake it will still be a 3 cylinder ACE motor .
Remember this is just my opinion I may be way off the mark

1,630 cc four-stroke, Rotax with three cylinders in-line and four valves per cylinder

Rotax® 1630 ACE™

Yep, that is a PWC motor. Look at the water pump.

It would be cool if they did put it in though.

You guys crack me up! :D
A larger displacement engine (with more torque and horsepower) will require major revisions to the chassis and suspension, the VSS, the driveline...
You'll probably need to carry more fuel....... most likely it'll burn more also...:banghead:

Why not wait until at least the 2018s are out; before starting up another "Silly Season"?

Ima, waitin, and Ima watching. 1600 is getting closer to that magic GW 1800.

For me, it would take at least that to get me re-interested in another new one. PS. I am still a very happy Spyder owner, just not going to upgrade to get the latest color.:yes:

Dreaming....

there is that song "Wishing and hoping".... :dontknow: I think their issue now is the under 10 unit....

New Diesel Spyder

Rumor has it the new RTL will be a Diesel with a DEF system and a #10,000 hitch. It will be able to tow an RV but only the ones produced by BRP. The rear tire already has been specked out and a contract is expected soon on it from Kenda. The DEF system is to satisfy the emission standards here in the USA. It is expected to get 60-70 miles per gallon and will only use the Mobile 1 oil sold at Walmart. Seats will be made from only the finest hides from the King Ranch in Texas. No mirrors are expected to be placed on the new Diesel Spyder because it will be so fast you will never have to look back. Can't wait to get mine. Due out in early 2018.

Jack
:D

:bowdown: There ya go. I will wait for the test drive report before I jump in. :roflblack::roflblack:
