• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wanted to introduce myself, I just bought a 2012 RTS Quantum Blue I am converting over from a Goldwing. As you may be able to tell from my user name I am old. I tell most people that I am really only 30 that I am trapped in this old body. I know there are some of you that knows that feeling. Hope everyone who reads this has a great day. It is raining here in Va. right now, so the RT is in the garage.

You will have to tell me where and when Spyder fest 3 is going to be. I am not up to date on that. it may be possible.

Grandpa,
Welcome to the board. I am a grandpa with 2 granddaughters. My kids used to live in the Newport News/Hampton Roads area. Again, welcome to Spyderlovers.

Welcome Grandpa. Spyderfest will be in the end of April in Cuba Missouri. You can go to the Spyderfest 2012 web page and see all the details. Be safe.

Welcome & enjoy your new ride.:ohyea: Oh and the rain won't hurt your new spyder, remember this is the same Co. that makes SeaDoo watercraft:thumbup:

Welcome Grandpa. BOY do I know that trapped feeling:yikes::gaah:. But, don't worry, your in great company as a Spyder owner. It takes that kind of attitude to still have a zest for life and the adventure of still riding. Don't ever let your mind grow old just cuz your body has a few miles on it.:lecturef_smilie:

Ride n comfort,

John

Welcome Grandpa! Don't worry, it's not the age that's important, it's the mileage...and every mile on a Spyder is a joy.

Grips

:congrats: and:welcome: your are now entering a new world of riding an friends. John & {Carol, Cj/johnnyg}

My wife rides a 2010 RT, automatic. Does your RT have heated grips and does the Kuryakyn ISO grips, p/n 6341 still allow the grips to be heated, both low and high?

Thank you very much for your time,

Bill

Welcome. I have the same problem with my body parts as you. I am not sure to use all these funny things :dontknow: like this.
I might have you beat on age. My 75 Birthday is in the rear view Mirror, a ways back.
Read the posts on here for help, come to events on here.
