• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New guy from North Alabama

Morning folks. This is my first Spyder (f3-S) and I must say, it is different from anything I have ever ridden. 51 years on a motorcycle, it is going to take some getting use to. Any way I hope I don't ask too many questions. Thx

:clap::welcome: :2thumbs:
Please feel free to ask anything that comes to mind: we love questions!
:nopic: of your bike?

Welcome welcome....

To both the spyder world and this most informative site. Congrats on your choice of ryde...:2thumbs: Never too many questions sometimes we need reminders. Your gonna have a load of fun learning all about the Y experience...enjoy

Welcome from Central Washington. You are gonna love the Spyder; I came from the same place on 2 wheelers a little over 2 years ago and have never looked back. Ask away, good folks on here to help you out.

:welcome:

Ask away about anything you want. We like to talk about Spyders!

You may find some helpful info in the Do's and Don'ts thread.

:congrats: on your new Spyder and welcome from Florida. After two weeks of riding the :spyder2: everything will just come natural to ya!
Cheers!

:welcome: and :congrats: on the new F3-S. Others have you covered with the Do's & Don'ts thread. Most find the information very helpful. It's going to take about 500 miles, but your going to like it a lot.

Welcome from Hazel Green. I'm still getting used to the Spyder also. I have thought about getting rid of it and going back to Harley, but after riding all this week in the rain I may have changed my mind. Its the only ride I have after bending my tie rod on my Jeep rock crawling a couple weeks ago.

Howdy from a fellow North Alabamian! :congrats::2thumbs::riding:

How many miles does it take (avg.) before an x-biker gets used to the seemingly sensitive steering..? Especially in curves ..!
thanks

Ugh!!!

That sucks! :yikes: I traded in my JK with a 4" lift and Mickey Thompson 35's a couple years ago... and I miss it sooo!!! Well, I don't miss it when I have to drive on the interstate, but other than that... I LOVED that vehicle. Are you by chance a member of any of the local jeep groups?

 Did somebody mention Jeeps? :D

We're waiting for this one to hit the market!

I figure that it's as close as I'll ever get to another "FC"...

Awesome!!!

I am actually in Huntsville

We three need to meet up one weekend and go for a ryde together. I don't think I've ever seen more than one spyder at a time here in Huntsville. People won't know what to think! ;) :roflblack:

I saw a video online of a spyder build that a shop in Tennessee did for a girl from Madison. It was GORGEOUS!!! I am keeping my eyes peeled for her when I am out and about.
