New guy and kudos to dealer
After many years on a Wing, lower back problems dictated I move from 2 wheels to 3. Although it had not happened, I was becoming more concerned my left leg was going to give out when at a stop. The wife and I tried a 2013 RT Ltd last year and while it was OK, it didn't thrill us. This year we tried a 2014 RT Ltd and what a difference a year makes. I rode it away from the dealer's lot, then we swapped and she rode it back. She was all smiles when we got back. Sold the Wing and started looking for a good deal on a 2014 RT-S SE6 in pearl white.
Pitbull gave me a great price but it was going to be a long ride back to central Ohio. I then got a good price from Jason at Johnny K's in Lodi, Ohio - a lot closer to home. Jason was a pleasure to deal with, and it got better. I picked up the Spyder on Saturday, 6/28 and then Monday, 6/30 I get an email from BRP with info about a $1000 rebate offer on new Spyders. I thought "d__n", here I had missed out since I had already took delivery. I forwarded the email to Jason and on 7/1 he responded that he had contacted their rep and was working to get the rebate for me. I got the check yesterday so a good deal became even better. Thanks to Jason at Johnny K's and to BRP.
