It is an acquired taste. I didn't like it much until I was shown the proper way to drink it. You must remember that beers in Europe are typically drawn at cellar temperature. Which is around 50-55 degrees. What I do is put one in the refrige and leave one out. Then I mix them to get close to cellar temp.

It's kind of funny, but when I came back from England, I couldn't drink American beer. I would get bloated fast. I had to get use to it again.

Ah, Lucas, the "Prince of Darkness".

In my drinking days, Anhieser-Busch had a draft-only dark beer that a really great, but hard to find.
